When I deep fry food that requires batter there are always the inevitable little pieces of batter that cook and float in the oil.

In this instance though, for Steven Universe, he is specifically getting french fry bits from Beach Citywalk Fries. Regular, fast food french fries–made from sliced potatoes–aren't dipped in batter before frying, so he's getting the cooked, left over pieces of the day's french fries; small pieces of fried potato.Dianahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03671929526461030636noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1925164985992099534.post-21168084457368129492015-04-02T00:45:13.289+02:002015-04-02T00:45:13.289+02:00while this recipe certainly does look tasty, i mus...while this recipe certainly does look tasty, i must point out that 'fry bits' don't actually contain potato

fry bits is just another name for the leftover bits of batter that fall off when deep frying. i think they're most commonly known as 'scraps', but i've also seen them being called 'scrumps' and 'batterbits'. as you can imagine, they're incredibly unhealthy

so while this article may have been written in good spirit, these are not fry bits; they are just small pieces of fried potato. 'fry bits' in the true sense are simply pieces of deep fried batterAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07523950015719162478noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1925164985992099534.post-4591923033358966752015-03-15T00:03:04.914+01:002015-03-15T00:03:04.914+01:00Oo!
